Carrefour as there are in France (or even around the world), with lots of stuff inside!
course, all is not perfect: the stalls are not always well stocked and some rays (cheese, sausage, ...) are a distressing monotony ... and I will not even talk no radius "spirits".
Anyway, its opening has substantially facilitated life. No more small shops of 10 m2 products crammed from floor to ceiling, no more small mini-markets that sell imported products 2 or 3 times their price, and eventually also "Sharvand" sort of "Prisunic" of 70's when the cashiers were as pleasing as the warders of Health.
At risk of sounding crass materialism that day was to mark a milestone!
