Preparation:
- review photos you've taken at previous weddings photos to identify successful or not.
- ask the bride and groom if they want you to take Photos special moments, the commercial photographer could forget
- verify that your device's battery is fully charged and you have a batteries and memory cards spare. (Incontournable!)
D-Day:
- the place of marriage: Take a few minutes to identify good locations shooting. Some ideas take a picture from a balcony or stairs to get a different perspective, or bottom to top, for example with a child or children in the foreground, to reflect their vision.
- the right light: often the lighting is poor and can not use the flash: to increase the ISO sensitivity of your camera and do some tests and check it out before the arrival of the bride.
- do not become the center of attention: does not take place, do not apply for too many honeymooners and guests. Remember to turn off the sound of your camera.
Think differently:
- propose a fresh look : Pay attention to small details (intended or unintended) and capture them: as the floral decorations or behind the wedding dress, the mosaic of colorful wrapping paper or a bunch forgotten side of the cake.
- shooting speeches and improvise a tripod to place your camera: a glass table or your offer you such a stable base.
- change color: black and white, sepia
After the event:
- Upload your photos on a laptop computer and share them the next morning: everyone loves to relive this important day.
- create online albums to share pictures with everyone (especially those that could not be present.)
advantage of D-Day:
As a guest, your role principal is to have fun : Do not let the photo take precedence over the rest. Indeed, it is repeated enough to married, but also think of you (I speak from experience!)
