Brazilian Bikini Wax Mississauga

Our first true pass

Losar - Baralacha La (4550m) - Batal

Only 40 km qqs 700m elevation gain today, but by far the hardest day since the beginning. Fortunately we were told that the neck was relatively easy. Maybe a little fatigue in the misconduct (the night under the stars in the quail still was a bit short), altitude, lack of fuel (the "noodle soup" are not very nutritious), and bumpy. In short, big blow pump qqs km from col.

Track rotten

Here I battle to 3-4 km / h not to set foot on the ground.

Even Sophie is here forced to get off his horse into the gravel, it's saying something! not wait the road is completed, if it is a day !

Go, courage, even a little effort, almost to the neck!

delighted to finally reach the top

The descent is steep and the track rotten, long live the ATV. We arrived a little later at the junction of the road Chandra Tal is with regret that we decide to zap (there is 14km of uphill course to reach this lake, moderately want to drive at night ...). So we continue the descent.

Glaciers in the descent of Kunzum The

Topo: 40 km, about + / - 800m

Km 10: Losar village (4100m), Dabh (Kunzum Dabh left at the entrance of Losar, very good) , checkpoint
RMQ: no / little camping spots before Losar. A cabin on the left wall to dte + 1 but near a village 15 km
: camping spot owl (4128m)
Km 17: perfect camping spot (grass + water) at the foot of the pass. The trail then rises gradually. A lot of scree.
Km 28: Kunzum La (4530m)

Summer 2007

the descent, there is a choice between two "roads" that join, we took the left. The right one apparently under construction. Track, scree. Quite steep.

Chandra river (Summer 2007)
(you can see the road to Chandra Tal cons below)

Km 36: Chandra Tal to bifurcation (14km to rest the lake, we did not go because ultimately it was late and we were punctured, not want to drive at night on the track)
Km 40: Batal (4021 m), 1 Dabh held by a couple nice. The best aluminum parantha the trip!

Chandra valley to Batal (Summer 2007)

RMQ : we were told easy ascent, but actually track hyper rotten parts of road construction so big scree ( have had to push the bike in places, especially to avoid me the bowls, but also for fear of messing up our horses). I felt not very well at about 2 km of the pass (altitude?), In short, have found it rather hard. 2 English encountered in the evening at Dabh (Losar party) had the same impression.
